Walking and cycling in the area. For the little ones there are fun play equipment, table tennis, bikes and go-karts. For adults and families there are various walking and cycling possibilities and other outings. In the immediate vicinity there are castles (also to visit). Within an hour's drive there is a wide choice of various entertainment, also for children: lakes for fishing, swimming and amusement parks, etc. There is a river for canoeing. The village of Luzy is a 5-minute walk from the campsite and has a cosy centre with shops, caf\u00e9s and good and affordable restaurants. In addition, there are 2 supermarkets in Luzy: a Lidl and a large B1 Supermarket. Burgundy is one of the oldest regions of France. The area is known for its wine growing. Due to the good climate with many hours of sunshine, the grapes that grow in Burgundy are of great quality. During the summer months (June to September) this region has an average of 11 to 14 wet days. In the spring the daytime temperature is around 22 degrees and in the summer can rise to 30 to 35 degrees. A very suitable holiday climate!<\/p>\n<p>The weather in Burgundy is not entirely predictable. There is a continental climate: very hot in summer and very cold in winter. The warm summers in combination with the hilly landscape occasionally lead to (unexpected) thunderstorms. From April there is usually little rainfall.
